FM Gothic Window Contemporary Tips:

Customizing the Glass:
The set includes 5 Material Presets for the glass (simply apply to the main group), but here´s a couple of tips in case you want to further customize it, e.g. make your own color scheme.

The glass is built from two layers, Inside and Outside glass, which you can find in the FMGWC Window-group. They both have 11 Surfaces which you can use for coloring.

I used the Inside glass for textures (dirt, mosaic,…) and the outside glass for coloring. If you want to create your own colors, I recommend to load the colored preset and change colors on the Outside glass. The Inside glass transparency affects the intensity of the colors in this case.

The “Add Color” material preset only adds colors to the Outside glass, retaining the textures on the Inside glass.

Iray: The Transparency of the Outside Glass is driven by Refraction Weight.
The Transparency of the Inside Glass is driven by the Textures in the Cutout Opacity-Channel.

3Delight: Transparency for both glass layers is driven by Opacity Strength. The Inside layer holds the textures, so best use the Outside glass for transparency changes.
On 3Delight, only the Inside glass has Reflectivity turned on. Adding Reflectivity to the Outside glass should give stronger reflections but longer render times.

Iray Lighting:
The set loads with a disabled Character Spotlight. Simply unhide it if you want more light on your character. Intensity is set by Photometrics/Luminous Flux (Lumen).

Floor Hight:
Just a simple tip … if you use Sitting Poses from your Library and the feet don´t perfectly match the floor, you can simply change the floor hight instead of messing around with the Pose. 😉
Of course the included Poses work with the default floor hight for Genesis 8 Female.
